This secluding traditional recently built stone villa set on the edge of the village of Prines is immaculate, extremely romantic in style and very tastefully decorated and furnished. Its spacious cottage style interior can sleep up to 6 persons, having 3 bedrooms (1 of which is actually a sleeping gallery) 1 bathroom and 1 shower / WC.

Anastasia Villa is a perfect holiday retreat for those seeking relaxation. Its 800m lush garden with olive trees and lovely Cretan flowers provides a cool and rejuvenating atmosphere during the warmest summer days. The property and its surroundings offer total privacy.

VILLA GROUND FLOOR: Off the patio, the front door opens into the spacious open plan living room and kitchen area with a corner fireplace, and stone corner sitting area with cushions, rugs, coffee table, and built-in shelves with books and Satellite TV.

The gallery style kitchen is equipped with full size oven, hob and large refrigerator freezer. There is also a dining table and chairs made of wood. A tiny hall leads to the two main bedrooms, both with wrought iron beds and stylish antique furniture.

Both bedrooms have doors leading out onto a shared front terrace facing the garden. The master bedroom has a double bed with a muslin mosquito net and the other has twin beds. All windows are hung with white lace hand-made curtains. The main bathroom on the ground floor has a bathtub with shower, a wash basin, washing machine and WC. The villa covers an area of 120 sqm in total.

VILLA UPPER FLOOR: A staircase connects the ground floor living room to the spacious wooden floored sleeping gallery, set under a beamed ceiling, with a double bed, an en-suite shower / WC and a small dressing room.

VILLA EXTERIOR & SURROUNDINGS: Outside the split level terraces, there is a comfy furnished patio with a stone built BBQ, a large 3-seat swing with cushions and tent and a large marble table with extra seats. Stone and wood, ideally combined, have been used to build the house and as for its interior, all carpets and curtains are hand-made and the materials used are natural.

The traditional small old village of Prines has only few little shops, a mini-market as well as some local traditional cafés. There is a taverna in the village of Prines offering excellent quality Cretan food, only 100m from Villa Anastasia. The nearest beach, Koubes, is approximately 4 km away, while Georgioupoli beach is 8 km away. The bustling town of Rethymnon, at a distance of 5 km, with its wide variety of tourist amenities is a 7 minute drive away.

THE VILLA SWIMMING POOL: The 32 sqm fresh water swimming pool has been placed in an area surrounded by trees, ensuring absolute privacy. Umbrellas and sun beds are set along the pool and an external shower is also right next to it. The view from the pool is refreshing and lovely.

SERVICES UPON ARRIVAL: A welcome basket with everything you will need for a abundant continental breakfast (toast, honey, juice, butter, marmalade), as well as wine, bread, olive oil, fruits, eggs, tea and many other local products will be waiting for you upon arrival.
