Arktos Villa

Villa Arktos is the largest of three villas set in their own grounds in the peaceful area of Pefkias, in the hills above Skopelos Town. This villa enjoys fabulous views from the pool and pool terrace down the valley and out to sea. It has two double bedrooms, one sleeping gallery with two beds suitable for children and two wc/shower rooms.

INTERIORS
Villa Arktos is laid out on one floor and entry is into the open plan living/dining room and fully-equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher.  The sitting area has a comfortable sofa and TV/DVD and the dining table is placed in front of a big picture window which overlooks the swimming pool and large pool terrace.

The two double bedrooms sit either side of the living / dining room to maximise privacy.  One hallway gives access up a short but steep ladder/stairway to the small sleeping gallery, which has two single beds suitable only for children, as well as the spacious wc/shower room and double bedded room.  The hallway leading off the other side of the living / dining room leads to the second double bedroom with en suite wc/shower room.  Both bedrooms have French windows leading out to the pool and pool terrace in front of the villa.

EXTERIOR
The exterior walls have been painted in bright colours, a technique taken from ancient times.  There is a BBQ and outside dining table on the large pool terrace, together with sunbeds on which to relax and take in the fabulous views down the valley and out to sea.

SURROUNDINGS
Villa Arktos is the largest of three villas set in their own grounds in the peaceful area of Pefkias, in the hills above Skopelos Town.  Arktos has its own driveway (dirt road from the main asphalt road) and sits below and to one side of Villa Kentavros and Villa Pegasus, surrounded by pine and olive trees and close to many of the old donkey tracks across the island.  The swimming pool is not overlooked by the other two villas.

SUITABILITY
Villa Arktos is ideal for two couples travelling together or families with smaller children who want peace and tranquillity whilst being close to the amenities of Skopelos Town, only 10 minutes away by car.  It is the perfect spot for walkers, with easy access to many trails, as well as for painters who will appreciate the wonderful surroundings.
