Minos Imperial is set in the Emerald Bay of the traditional fishing village of Milatos which is 45 km from Heraklion Airport, in the heart of Eastern Crete.

The village of Milatos has the reputation of a seafood heaven by locals and it is therefore the finest choice to experience genuine fresh quality seafood with its taverns right on the sea making it an ideal site to unwind.

The resort consists of 350 accommodation units. All rooms and suites are ideally created for couples or families the majority of which have a panoramic sea view over the Aegean. Since the accommodations’ preference may vary from one guest to another there is a wide selection of choices to welcome you.

The resort is covering a total area of 190.000 sqm, surrounded by picturesque gardens, waterfalls, palm trees, olive trees a lagoon and numerous pools.

The premium class is in a separate area within the resort, ideal for more casual holidays and family moments. For those who prefer a day with animation activities, water sports and generous buffets for lunch and dinner. The choices for a family in Minos Imperial are rooms with a sliding door separation; Family rooms with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 shower; Vip Family Suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Some of the Vip Family Suites have indoor Jacuzzi and enough space to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children.

Moreover all standard rooms include side sea view or sea view, king size bed marble bathroom (bath tub & separate shower), toiletries, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning and heating unit, safety deposit box, satellite TV (21 or 24 inches), music channel, direct dial telephone, mini fridge, and spacious terraces or balconies.

Entertainment and sport activities are performed both during the day and in the evening with the hotel’s animation.

There are five large swimming pools (one with fresh water, four with salt water), two of them with Jacuzzi, one of which is heated (from April till the 15th of May and from the 15th of October till the closing of the hotel.

Daily variety of sports and activity programmes such as aerobics, aqua fit and body firming as well as competitions and games are taking place either at the beach or in the swimming pool and at night there are music and entertainment shows.

Minos Imperial provides every facility for children to make their stay exciting and comfortable. In the resort, guests can find an aqua park, a place for adults and also specially designed for children. At the shore, there are jet skis, banana, rings, canoeing, sea bicycle, water skiing and other water sport possibilities as well as scuba diving & lessons (close to the hotel).
