Albatros Hotel is situated only 25 kms away from Heraklion International airport in the town of Hersonissos, a place which attracts thousands of visitors every summer. Conveniently located in the centre of the island of Crete, the hotel provides easy access to the most important sights of the island such as the Minoan palaces of Knossos and Festos, the plateau of Lassithi, and the picturesque towns of Ag. Nikolaos and Elounda.
Regular direct bus service connects Hersonissos with major destinations all around the island. The nearest bus stop is only 350 metres away from the hotel.

The hotel is ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the town, only 20m away from one of Crete’s most attractive beaches. Nevertheless, the world famous town of Hersonissos, known for its nightlife entertainment, is just a 5-minute walk.

It is a family owned and run Resort hotel, offering high quality standards in combination with the traditional Cretan hospitality and friendly atmosphere. Every year it welcomes a great number of repeater guests and it is mostly recommended for couples and families with children.

“Mediterraneo”
Breakfast and dinner are served in the hotel’s main restaurant which is located at a terrace overlooking the sea and the swimming pool.
In the morning, guests can enjoy a rich breakfast , selecting from a large buffet offering warm and cold dishes. For dinner, the Chef suggests a choice of gourmet dishes, inspired by the flavours of the Mediterranean and International cuisine.

Dinner includes a wide variety of starters, day specials, salads, fruit and desserts. Local products and pure Cretan olive oil are used for the preparation of all meals . The delightful meal can be accompanied with a large selection of local wines.
As an option, guests can taste the homemade wine, produced by our own ‘Tamiolakis’ winery.
Special nights (e.g Greek nights , barbecues) are regularly organised.

“Daphne”
Open every day for lunch or dinner, this ‘a la carte’ restaurant offers guests the chance to discover the secrets of the world famous authentic Cretan cuisine or sample flavours from around the Mediterranean.
A complimentary dish of the day accompanied by raki is offered to all guests.

“Veranda”
The Hotel's Main lobby and bar, open from 16:00p.m. - 24:00a.m., serves refreshments , drinks and cocktails.

“Seaside cafe”
The perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun and the sea.
A pool bar conveniently placed between the swimming pool and the beach serves fresh fruit juices, refreshments, cocktails and light snacks, all day from 10.00 am- 8.00pm. The sound of music and our friendly staff create a cool atmosphere for an ideal day at the beach.
