INTERIOR
Entering into the main, open plan sitting room and kitchen, these light and spacious apartments have a contemporary look and feel that contrasts well with the ancient façade of the exterior of the building. The lower level (1st floor of the building) apartment has one bedroom, furnished with a double bed at the rear of the building on a narrow, quiet street which allows for a good nights rest. The kitchenette is located on one wall of the sitting room and is adequately equipped for simple holiday meals. There is a spacious and modern w/c shower room next to the bed room. The front wall of the unit has windows to take full advantage of the wonderful views afforded from the perfect position of the place. Entering into the upper level maisonette (2nd floor of the building) has exactly the same floor plan as the lower apartment but has windows on two walls of the sitting room and includes the same balcony overlooking the old harbour. In this larger unit, a stairway from the main sitting room leads to two additional bedrooms, each furnished with 1 single bed plus a w/c shower room. Double French doors then lead out to the best feature of all, a huge roof terrace from which to enjoy these amazing views of Alonissos and the entire harbour of Skopelos. Furnished with table and chairs, many hours will be spent enjoying the fabulous views and soaking up the traditional atmosphere of this special place.

From the sitting room, there is a steep ladder-like stairway which leads to the upper-level bedroom. The ceiling is open wood beamed and the pine is carried through to the flooring in this room. It is cozy and comfortable and furnished with a double bed and small sitting area with table and chairs next to a low window. There is a romantic feel to the entire house but especially in this spacious bedroom under the slanted roof rafters.

Faros Town House apartments are perfect for both couples and families who like to be right in the midst of things while on holiday. It is also great for those who do not wish to have a car, preferring the local taxi and bus service. This lovely old building is a very special landmark of Skopelos town and has a wonderful atmosphere that can be appreciated by all.
