Entering into the open plan living/dining room of the villa, it has a cozy warm feeling with its Skopelitian decor and corner fireplace. The French windows open onto a large terrace which faces a stunning 180 degree view from the white-washed houses of Glossa, which cascade down the hillside toward the quiet little port of Loutraki below. The fabulous views then continue out to sweeping views of sea and the islands of Skiathos, Evia and the mainland beyond.

To the left of the main entrance is the kitchen with a circular breakfast bar where coffee or breakfast can be served with the dramatic backdrop of this fabulous view. A small hallway from the main living spaces leads to the master bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. A w/c shower room is located off of the hallway.
A stairway leads to the 3rd bedroom which is furnished with a single bed and has French doors leading to a small balcony overlooking the pool with the sea below.

EXTERIOR
The villa, painted in the traditional white with blue shutters, is located just below the main road and has easy access. The steep hillside affords full privacy on its terraces and around the pool. The front door is reached from a pretty veranda with lots of terra cotta pots full of flowers. Hours can be spent over morning coffee or breakfast on the front terrace watching the fishing boats as they head out to their favorite grounds for todays' local catch. Come evening time, watch the dazzling sunset over the islands and the faint lights of far away villages becoming brighter as darkness falls. The private swimming pool is situated a level down from the house and is reached by a stairway from the front terrace. From the large pool terrace, long summer afternoons can be spent lounging with your favourite book or working on your holiday tan. The views from this tranquil spot on the hillside compete with anywhere in the Sporades.

The location of Villa Drossia, half way between Klima and Glossa make it central to shops, restaurants, cafes and beaches alike. The village of Glossa, second largest on the island, is just a few minutes drive from the villa and has markets, butcher, baker and pharmacy as well as a lovely upscale taverna with roof a garden. A few minutes further down the winding road is Loutraki and it's small, picturesque waterfront. Here, there are several choices of tavernas and cafes as well as a beach for a quick swim after lunch. Only one minute from the villa are turn-offs to lots of the islands isolated beaches such as Agios Ioannis and Perivouliou. These take a bit more effort to reach, about 20 minutes by car, but are well worth the effort if peace and solitude is what you are looking for. In the other direction, toward Skopelos town, beaches are dotted all along the main road, the first one only a 10 minute drive from the house. The main town of the island, Skopelos Town can be reached in approximately 50 minutes by car and is the perfect picture of a whitewashed Greek village spilling down to a tree-lined waterfront and harbour. Villa Drossia is great for walkers and hikers as well. There are walks to Glossa, Loutraki as well as to the isolated beaches mentioned above for the more hearty walker.

The services of our representative are included in the rental cost. Our representative will meet you on the port of Skopelos/Alonissos upon arrival (1st arriving party for each property) and will give you a Welcome Letter which will include telephone numbers for our office and representatives. Also included will be driving instructions and a map to get to your property independently if you have not booked an escorted transfer with us AND are arriving before 19:00.

On top of that we can offer alternative ways of transfer to the island or the house you have reserved.

We provide cleaning service and linen change twice a week, including arrival cleaning (excluding Sundays). Additional maid service can usually be arranged upon request and at an extra fee. Baby cots, high chairs and extra beds can also be arranged on request as well as welcome packs, flowers, champagne, etc. Please speak directly with our office staff for prices and availability.

Our representative's Service Office is located on the harbour front in Skopelos Town. A personal villa visit will be made the day following the arrival to answer any individual queries. The staff can help you arrange excursions & car hire, provide tips on what to see and do and let you know of any special events that might be happening during your stay. Our aim is to provide a highly personalised service to make your holiday with us an unforgettable experience.

In addition, a villa folder will be found in each accommodation, giving detailed information about the villa and the area including nearest shops, restaurants and beaches.

Even though sometimes possible, clients should not expect to check-in earlier than 14:00. On departure the accommodation must be vacated by 11:00 unless otherwise arranged with our representative's Service Office.

If you wish to reserve ferry tickets to and from Sporades, please use our on line ferry ticket reservation system. Tickets will be sent to you by courier either to your home address or to an address in Greece, providing you will be staying for at least 1 working day there.
